Please see all 10 photos for a detailed look at all sides. I'd guess 1950s? I'm not sure, it does have an imprint in the back that says EB 94. It appears to be cast iron, painted black, with some chips and rust spots. It's really nice looking in real life, I personally wouldn't paint it but it could be painted.
