The monkeys are a mix of different materials. Some are pot metal/ spelter. The largest of the metal ones is brass. The paperweight is zinc/ tin. Two are wood carved. The smaller of the two is signed Trinidad. Some are ceramic or bisque, including the black one showing three boys with curly hair.The three yellow separate monkeys are plastic and the miniature is celluloid.
This collection of monkeys range in size from the largest, the white ceramic which measures 2 1/2” x 3” to the miniature celluloid at 1” x 1 1/4”.
The L.A. 40’s souvenir desk organizer measures 1 3/4” x 3 1/4” x 4 1/8”.
The paperweight measures 3” x 3” x 2 3/4”. It’s marked : Made In Japan on its base.
The monkeys on the stand measure 2 1/4” x 4 1/2”.
Some are unmarked, most are marked Japan and two are stamped Occupied Japan and one is Trinidad.
