This vintage BluGirl by Blumarine slip dress is made of 100% light blue rayon with a subtle white polka dot print.

Featuring thin spaghetti straps, a square neckline with lace trim, and a short-length A-line skirt with a scalloped hem, it offers a romantic, ethereal look.

The fitted bodice has a belt and side zipper, ideal for layering over a slip which is included in the same colour.

Peculiarities include the polka dots’ fine scale (small and evenly spaced, about 1-2mm in diameter), which give a ditsy, whimsical vibe rather than bold drama; the lace detailing on the straps and neckline, which adds a vintage lingerie-inspired touch; and the overall construction’s Italian craftsmanship.

From the early 2000s (2000-2005), this dress reflects BluGirl’s Y2K romantic irony, blending 1990s minimalism with 2000s boho flair.
