"The Juliet Letters" is 14. Studio album by singer and songwriter Elvis Costello. Originally published in 1993, the album recognized by critics made it to 18th place on the British album charts. Costello gets instrumental support on the entire record from the Brodsky String Quartet. Costello's interest in classical music had been awakened by the completion of "Spike" and he had started to attend classic concerts. One of the ensembles that he liked best was the Brodsky Quartet.

When Costello and the Brodskies met, they quickly emerged that they wanted to work together. The result was "The Juliet Letters". Costello described the album as “a collection of songs written for a string quartet with singing. It's a little different. It is not a rock opera. It's something new. "

The album is available in a limited edition of 2500 individually numbered specimens on purple vinyl and contains a side dish.
