"Ummagumma" is the fourth long player from Pink Floyd. The record was originally published in October 1969.

At the same time, it is the band's first double album, which is made up of a live and a studio part. The live recordings were created at two concerts in the College of Commerce in Manchester and in the Mother's Club in Cambridge.

In the recordings of the studio part, Pink Floyd showed an unusual approach. Each of the four band members each had a quarter of the LP available, for their own recordings. Among other things, Roger Water's folk ballad "Grantchester Meadows" or Gilmours was created three-part psychedelic rock pieces "The Narrow Way".

The recordings for "Ummagumma" took place in the legendary Abbey Road Studios in London. As with her first two albums, Norman Smith, who also worked as a sound engineer for the Beatles, sat on the mixer.

The legendary double album finally back on vinyl again

The vinyll lovers were longing for this among Pink Floyd fans. The rock legends gradually publish all their albums as LPs. The first four albums of the band will start in June 2016, including "Ummagumma".

For the new edition, all songs on the album by James Guthrie, Joel Plante and Bernie Grundman were completely newly mastered.

At the same time as "ummagumma" the albums were also "The Piper at the Gates of Dawn",, "A Saucerful of Secrets" and "More" reissued. All Reissues appear on 180 g heavy vinyl. Coverartwork is the original design.
