Solo album was a direct continuation of the album "Captain Fantastic and the Brown Dirt Cowboy" from 1975. The album recorded in Atlanta builds on the original and describes the life of Elton and Bernie Taupin in the years in between. Like its predecessor from 1975, the package contains two booklets - lyrics and scraps.
