The concept album reissued

Alan Parsons fans can look forward to two special Reissues in 2021: The British musician, sound engineer and producer puts on his albums "on air" and "The Time Machine" again, on CD and LP. The two vinyl versions come to Translucent Blue Vinyl or Vinyl transparant, are numbered and limited to 1,500 copies each.

"The Time Machine" appeared in 1999 and is the third solo album by Alan Parsons. It is about time travel and the memory of the past.

The singing on the concept album comes from Tony Hadley (Spandau Ballet), Colin Blunstone, Maire Brennan (Clannad), beverly Craven and Neil Lockwood (ELO).

"The Time Machine" sounds like a combination of the Alan Parsons Project of the 1970s with a pinch of Pink Floyd and is a sound experience that will inspire fans of Parsons, New Age and Electronica.

The album begins with the instrumental "The Time Machine (Part 1)", written by Cockney-Rebel drummer/composer Stuart Elliott (later Al Stewart and Kate Bush, UA), which is similar to how the project used to open its album. There is the gentle song "Out of the Blue", with lead singing by Tony Hadley from Spandau Ballet. "Ignorance is bliss" is one of the most beautiful songs with the singing of the former zombies lead singer Colin Blunstone.

PS: Here you will find the Reissue of »On Air«.

The vinyl has a bonus track: the »Dr. Evil "version of" The Time Machine "with the voice of Mike Myers as Austin Powers from the second" Austin Powers "film, in which the Alan Parsons Project is called. The chic artwork of the vinyl version comes from Peter Curzon.
