For fans, lovers and collectors: »Ultra | The 12 "Singles"

sony Music Entertainment published with »Ultra | The 12 "Singles" a new deluxe box set from the successful Collector's Edition.

The set contains eight vinyl maxis that the singles "Barrel of a Gun", "It's No Good", "Home" and "Uliness" features. In addition, there are exciting B-pages, mixes and live recordings from the time when "Ultra", the band's ninth studio album came onto the market (release: April 14, 1997).

Tracks can be heard on three* maxi singles of the box set, which were published in 1997 as CD singles. The cover of these panes, which - with a newly compiled tracklist - appear on 12 "vinyl for the first time, correspond to the original CDS in their artwork.

"Ultra" was the first DM album since the 1982 "A Broken Frame", which the band recorded as a trio (Martin Gore, David Gahan, Andrew Fletcher). Depeche Mode also sets with this LP, on which the classics "Barrel of a Gun", "It's No Good", "Home" and "Uliness" can be heard, the successful tradition of accompanying their albums spectacular Maxi-Singles.

Depeche Mode had already discovered the 12 "format for itself in the early band days and fully exhausted the innovative possibilities that it offered. Maxi-Singles were created for researching new sounds and the cover offered a large area for exciting visual experiments. DM fans loved these publications because they came up with unusual remixes, rare B-pages or rousing live performances.

The first sets of the Edition - Speak & »Spell | The Singles «and» A Broken Frame | The Singles « - published in August 2018. In December of the same year, »Construction Time Again | The 12 "Singles" and "Some Great Reward | The 12" Singles ". The series continued in May 2019 with »Black Celebration | The 12 "Singles" and "Music for the Masses | The 12" Singles ". »Violator | The 12 "Singles" came on the market in July 2020 and the latest edition, "Songs of Faith and Devotion | The 12" Singles ", was released in October 2020.

Each box set of the series is devoted to the singles of a certain Depeche fashion album. The tracks of the audiophilic vinyl maxis were used to use the original tapes. In the design, the boxes are based on the original albums, the cover of the assembled panels correspond to their originals in the artwork.

The Depeche Mode 12 "Single series will continue in the coming years and are expected to appear in similarly configured, audiophile versions.
