GRECOM / GRE PSR-800 Analog / Digital-Conventional / Digital-Trunking Scanner with WOU (Whistler Official Upgrade) for APCO (Association of Public-Safety Communications Officials) Project P25 Phase II, and DMR, to Whistler WS1080.

This is the fabled GRECOM PSR-800 scanner, the genesis for the subsequent Whistler WS1080, WS1088, and TRX-1 scanners.

This particular scanner has been upgraded by Whistler with the Whistler Official Upgrade.  This upgrade essentially made this scanner a Whistler WS1080 scanner, added decoding of P25 (Project 25) Phase II signals and DMR (Digital Mobile Radio) signals, other features and firmware upgrades, and added the ability to program the scanner with the Whistler "EZ-SCAN for WS1080" software (not included).

This upgrade is no longer available from Whistler, and be advised many GRECOM scanners on ebay do not have the official version of this upgrade.

Included is a SanDisk 16GB micro-SD card, Radio Shack 20-006 tunable telescoping antenna, and a DVD with documentation.  The documentation includes manuals for the scanner and antenna, and a pdf of the "Easier to Read Whistler WS1080/1088/TRX-1 Handheld", which is an invaluable reference for this extremely capable scanner.

The only things included are shown in the pictures (yellow tape measure not included).
