Led Zeppelin III Vinyl LP 1970 UK Original A5 B5 Plum Label Peter Grant Credit

Very good condition LP, a couple of noticeable surface marks as well as the expected hairline scratches.  Labels are clean from major spindal marks although there is a name wrote on side 1.  Crackling is heard lightly in areas as expected but nothing major.  Original inner has been misplaced so has been replaced with an anti static inner.  Gatefold sleeve is in excellent condition with age related marks but very light edge and corner wear.  Unfortunately wheel doesn't turn anymore.

Record is graded VG+

Cover sleeve is graded EX

Inner sleeve is plain/generic, this may be the manufacturers issued sleeve or recycled and could contain tears/pen marks etc

This record has been cleaned using a spincare machine before sale and is supplied in a protective acid free plastic outer sleeve, so it's already to go into any collection.

Grading expectations:

Mint (M)

The record itself is in a brand new condition with no surface marks/scratches or deterioration in sound quality.  The record it self may still be in its shrink wrap seal.  The cover, inner and any extra inserts such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in top condition.

Near Mint (NM)

A nearly perfect record. A NM record has more than likely never been played, and the vinyl will play perfectly, with no imperfections during playback.  The record should show no obvious signs of wear. A 45 RPM or EP sleeve should have no more than the most minor defects, such as any sign of slight handling. An LP cover should have no creases, folds, seam splits, cut-out holes, or other noticeable similar defects. The same should be true of any other inserts, such as posters, lyric sleeves, etc.

Excellent (EX)

A excellent record shows some signs of having been played with hairlines to be expected but there is very little lessening of sound quality.   The cover, inner and any inserts might have slight wear.

Very Good/Very Good Plus (VG/VG+)

A very good or very good plus record has obviously been played, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. The cover, inner and any inserts have general wear and tear around edges/corners, light creasing etc but without any major defects.

Good/Good Plus (G/G+)

A record in good or good plus condition can be played through without skipping.  But it will have significant surface noise, scratches, and visible groove wear. A cover or sleeve will have seam splits, especially at the bottom or on the spine. While the record will be playable without skipping, noticeable surface noise and "ticks" will almost certainly accompany the playback.

Fair (F) Poor (P)

The record is still just playable but has not been cared for/stored properly and displays considerable surface noise, it may even skip/jump. The cover and inner will be badly damaged or partly missing.
