A 18th century Dutch delft tobacco jar with blue and white decoration and complete with its brass lid.

The tobacco jar is in fair condition for its age, it has some losses to the rim and a couple of patched of glaze are missing, the finial at the top of the lid has also been repaired at some stage. although there are a couple of losses there are no cracks in the body of the vessel. It's a nice piece to own for anyone who collect delft and these examples look fantastic displayed on early oak furniture.
