Condition ? Any writing you see that appears to be on the sheets wide selvedge is actually on the polythene sleeve enclosing the sheet. The best way to determine condition is to examine the pictures I have provided. If there are any significant condition points not easily detected by the photo, I will mention it in the ?Description? area of the listing. For any other questions, please message me before bidding.
I often have multiple copies of individual listings; if you are interested in multiple copies (which may have a different plate number), please message me.
Pre-1940 sheets - Please note that on pre-1940 sheets there may be VERY minor imperfections, such as pin holes in the selvedge, tiny portions of the narrow selvedge missing, or perf separations less than one inch, that I may not mention in the description. I think any reasonable collector will assume that buying sheets this old, will have these types of very minor flaws. Please message me with any questions you have prior to bidding.
Combined Shipping ? I am happy to combine shipping to save you postage costs. Please ask for a combined shipping invoice by placing the items you want in your cart and then hitting the ?request an invoice? icon in the cart. Failing that, you can buy all of the items you want, each with their own postage cost and then when I process the order, I?ll refund to you the excess postage you paid.
I prefer to ship all my mint gummed sheets via USPS Ground Advantage. These will be enclosed in a polythene sheath inserted between file folders and posted in a 13? X 10 envelope with a cardboard insert to prevent damage. The USPS has just increased postage rates on Ground Advantage for the second time in 6 months, so I have been forced to charge a shipping cost of a flat $5.45 for 1 to 4 sheets. For more than 4 sheets an addition $.25 per sheet will be charged up to a maximum of $7.75 for up to 20 sheets. For orders larger than 20 sheets, the shipping charge will be at cost.
If you prefer to spend less on shipping costs, I am willing to ship sheets flat in a large envelope via first class mail, although I do not recommend using this method for two reasons 1) damage can occur and 2) delays of up to three weeks are common mailing large envelopes first class. If you want to use this method, your shipping fee will be $3.00 for the first sheet and $.15 for each additional sheet. For larger orders, the shipping fee will be at cost. To use this method, ask me for an invoice or buy it now with the $5.45 shipping charge and I?ll refund you the applicable amount.
I also offer sheets and booklet panes of Post-1990 stamps. Those I will ship via USPS first class mail. Please be patient with delivery time with these items, as this sometimes takes up to three weeks.
What you see is what you get. The photo provided in this offering is a photo of the actual item you will receive.
