ProRacing Hot Start Fix
is a device intended to help to start a warm and cold diesel engine.
If you are interested in this device, you probably
have the same problem as dozens of other users of diesel cars.
TD, TDI, TDS engines and other, above 45
degrees do not start heater plugs.
This is not a problem in a new car, but
if the car has above 100,000 km of mileage, problems may arise with starting
the engine. Sometimes the car will start
after 5-10 seconds. One solution to this
problem is the replacement of the injection pump, which is quite a considerable
cost.
A significantly cheaper, faster and equally effective solution is to install a
starter module that, when working with the engine computer, activates the glow
plugs independently of the engine temperature and increases the fuel dose at
start-up. This allows a smooth ignition, even though the injection pump is no
longer a new one.
When
properly installed, the car will be starting-up immediately after turning the
key, without the need for a few seconds to start the engine. Once you have installed our starter, starting
your car will no longer be a problem.
IMPORTANT!
The device fits all models of cars with
diesel engines.
Connecting
the device to the vehicle will activate the heater plugs regardless of the
engine temperature.
The module
only works at the time of starting a car (after 5 seconds after the engine has
started it completely turns off) and does not affect the normal operation of
the engine and fuel consumption.
The device has a
LED light indicating its correct operation:
·
when
the LED flashes red, it means the device is working - the heater plugs are heating, and the fuel dose is increased;
· when the engine starts, the LED lights up permanently after 5 seconds -
it means that the device has turned off the plugs, the fuel has returned to the
standard, and the device remains inactive
