This is a vintage book entitled The Modern Home Physician. A New Encyclopedia of Medical Knowledge. It was edited by Victor Robinson, PH.C, MD. It is illustrated with 232 photographs and nearly 700 drawings made expressly for this work. ©1943

This hardback book is in great condition with minor wear to the corners and edges of cover as you would expect for a 82 year old book. It does not appear to have been used much.

It's got fascinating information in it although I don't know if you'd want to rely on it as accurate today. Medicine has gained a lot of knowledge in 82 years, but it makes for a nice afternoon of thumbing through and looking at what was important then. You can read about Dropsy, Brain Fag, Rat Bite Fever,  and Rickets. It has 792 pages of information, much of it possibly still accurate. Regardless - this would make a great book for a medical person with a collection. 

This book measures approx 8.5" x 5.5" x 2". It weighs 2 pounds.
