Brecciated Jasper Slab for cabbing, lapidary from Stone Canyon California. 138g Dimensions: 5 1/2" X 2" X 5/16" thick.  Beautiful metamorphic material that is hard and will take a high luster polish.  This is Golden Jasper that under pressure and heat broke up or partially melted and reformed with quartz binding it back together.  Pics shown wet and dry.  

For those unfamiliar with Lapidary - these are unpolished - but by shown wet they are more colorful and vibrant, appearing as they would be polished.
