The device offers a wide measurement range for salt (0.0-5.0%) and temperature (5-90 degrees) and features automatic temperature correction, allowing measurements of items at room temperature. The LCD digitally displays salt concentration. It starts measuring automatically upon sensing the item, with patented auto power-on. It vibrates to notify measurement start and end, and includes data auto-hold and auto power-off features. The device is IP67 waterproof with a dedicated stand, operates on AAA batteries, and includes trial batteries. The expected battery life is about two years with 30 uses per day.
