USSR 1931. Unused election ballot in Yiddish, Ukrainian SSR. Election ballot for the elections to the
Council of Workers’, Peasants’ and Red Army Deputies. The document contains fields for the voter’s
personal data such as surname, first name, patronymic, gender, nationality, citizenship, and social
status. It also includes questions regarding membership in a trade union, a collective farm (kolkhoz),
as well as taxation (for individual farmers). At the bottom of the ballot, the date of issue and a
signature are indicated.
On the right-hand side of the document, in Ukrainian, is printed the name of the printing house and the
circulation: “Ukrholovlit 5579. UPO. 1st Printing House: ‘Komunist’, order 8355, circulation 950,500.”
On the reverse side of the document, in Ukrainian, it is stated that citizen Zavierovetsky Georgiy,
according to the lists of the City Council of Mykolaiv, is not listed as a person deprived of electoral rights.
This is confirmed by the signatures of the administrator and the secretary, along with the seal of the
local administration.
