Alex's Low Acid Organic Coffee is everything good coffee should be: rich, balanced, bright but not acidic, nutty and aromatic. These organic premium coffee beans are specially processed to contain low to no Chlorogenic acid with full flavor and are free of mold & mycotoxins.

Fully Organic

Our coffee beans from Chiapas, Mexico come from an organic cooperative formed over 20 years ago by 5 tribes of indigenous Mayan Indians concerned about soil degradation, contamination, and erosion.

Low Acid

Over 98% of coffee roasters in this country roast coffee in a drum roaster. We don't. Our coffees never come into contact with hot steel. They are gently roasted in a stream of very hot air which results in the almost complete removal of Chlorogenic Acid.

Swiss Decaf Process

We use a decaffeination process in which coffee is decaffeinated using a chemical-free, 99.9% caffeine-free water process and all the while having great taste at the same time.

Fresh Ground French Roast Coffee

Alex's Low Acid Organic Fresh Ground French Roast Coffee contains this blend of 100% organic coffee beans:

  • 50% Chiapas. Grown in southern Mexico, near the border with Guatemala, Chiapas coffee beans have the same characteristics of Guatemalan beans that you would expect from the volcanic soil and high altitude they grow in. They are mild and delicate, with slightly sweet notes of brown sugar and pear. They also have a nutty overtone.
  • 25% Nicaragua. These balanced coffee beans are complex but subtle, with notes of chocolate, nut, vanilla, and even mild lemon.
  • 25% Honduras. Grown in yet another coffee powerhouse, these mild and balanced coffee beans are universally appealing with chocolate, vanilla, and hazelnut hints.

Whole Bean French Roast Coffee
