This marionette measures approximately 48cm tall and has a specially sculpted head, hands and feet/lower legs. She is strung to a two handed marionette, built within our workshop.

Anne Boleyn was the tragic second wife of Henry VIII, who reigned for merely three years before being beheaded after being found guilty of high treason.

She is dressed in a rich velvet gown with a red and gold brocade underskirt and her sleeves are lined with taffeta. Her costume is embellished with faux pearls and gold lace/braid, with a gold pendant suspended from her waist on a pearl chain. On her head she wears a trimmed French hood.

This is a new marionette  from 'Alexander Sanderson Designs' first collection.
Each character comes with a specially created storage bag and two handed controller.
All puppets are hand made, using traditional costuming techniques but in miniature. Each puppet generally takes several days to make and are highly detailed.

This has been created for use as a performance marionette or collectors piece and is there fore not suitable for younger children.
