WELL HERE’S THE ANSWER.

Also works on the splayed leg stand for a Delta jointers and scroll saws.

WE DEVELOPED A BOLT-ON ALUMINUM SWITCH BOX MOUNTING PLATE THAT FITS NICELY BETWEEN THE LEGS OF THE DELTA SPLAYED LEG SHEET METAL BASE.

The plate is designed to accept our billet aluminum 2 piece switch box, that is described and available in another of our eBay listings.

All that is required to install the mounting plate is to drill two 3/16” holes and attach the plate as shown in the photos.  The .109” thick aluminum plate is predrilled and tapped for 10-32 mounting screws to attach it to the legs and to attach the switch box outer half to the plate.  The inner switch box attaches to the outer switch box.
