Item Description
Super durable rim, engineered to withstand the thoughest Enduro and DH
riding. Based on lightweight and durable NEWMEN Evolution SL rims,
we have reinforced the profile even further resulting in the Evolution
E.G. rims being extremely resistant against dents. In fact they are 40%
more durable than the SL A.30.
As with our regular rims, the profile is completly round and the flared flanges keep the tyre rounder on top of making the rims so hard-wearing against dents and deformation. Materials are deployed precisely at critical points and shaved off elsewhere. The flat spoke bed is designed to work with our special washers for extremely high spoke tension values whilst keeping the amount of material used down to a minimum. In contrast, the flanges are substantially thicker than on other rims in the same weight class for added strength and durability. In combination with our DT Swiss EXP 240 hub and Sapim Race (2,0-1,8-2,0) spokes it is possible to build a durable and lightweight gravity wheel.
