Toshiba Storage Device Division strengthens it’s embedded hard disk drive portfolio by launching a new 1.8-inch HDD. The MK1229GSG delivers the capacity and speed needed to upgrade a notebook without compromising battery life or quiet acoustics. The dual platter SATA drive featuring a capacity of 120GB offers a rotational speed of 5400 rpm and a fast media transfer rate of up to 150 Mbits per second. It has also the advantage of 500 G of operating shock and 1500 G of non operating shock.

Weighting only 62 grammes, the new Toshiba HDD is designed to be the perfect drive for individuals and developers desiring a more powerful computer in a compacter form.
