HOW TO MEASURE YOU PET:

We use pet weight in our listing as a guide only. You must measure your pet to find what size wheelchair will fit your pet. Follow the instructions below on how to measure your pet and reference the how to measure photos.

1) To measure the width: Measure your pet's rear; middle and front just behind the front legs. Write down the widest measurement. 

  2) To measure the length: Measure from the center of the rear thigh to behind the front leg. Write down this measurement. 

  3) To measure the height: Your pet must be standing in a natural position or if paralyzed held up in this position. You will need another person to help you: Measure from the ground to the center of your pet's rear thigh. Write down this measurement.

            THIS XXS/XS WHEELCHAIR IS DESIGNED TO FIT:

A width between 3 inches (76.2 mm) to a maximum of 5 inches (127 mm).

    A length up to a maximum of 9 inches (228.6 mm).

    A leg height between 4.5 inches (114.3 mm) to a maximum of 7.5 inches (190.5 mm).

QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS:

Q: How much knowledge do you have on what you build and sell?

A: A lot. We are the designer; manufacturer and seller. We can guide you through most any problem you may have with your wheelchair. In order to design; build and sell we must know our wheelchairs. If you have a problem we are here to help. Were not like the others who are resellers and sell hundreds of other items. These resellers buy wheelchairs in bulk from China and have no knowledge of a pet wheelchair.   

Q: Are you veterinarian approved? 

A: We are recommended by veterinarians all over the USA. They recommend us because of our quality built wheelchairs and for being the most colorful. Please understand the Veterinarian Medical Board does not endorse products. We don't use the words veterinarian approved because it is misleading; making you think the Veterinarian Medical Board has approved it. 

Q: What is the weight of your dog Wheelchair?

A: Don't know what size you mean; however ours are one of the lightest so your pet can move easily. Our XXS/XS chair weighs 2.2 lbs; XS/S chair weighs 3.2 lbs; S/M chair weighs 3.4 lbs. Very light weight chairs. If you shorten the leg struts you take off a little more weight. 

Q: How do I recognize a dog wheelchair not made in the USA?

A: : Easy. They will have two hollow round tubes that go to the front harness. These are from China. China built wheelchairs are recognized by those round tubes. Their legs are held in place with set screws which act like a vise and will constantly loosen and slip. Those wheelchairs are inexpensive with a number of quality issues; so be careful. They do have a couple without round tubes and look like USA wheelchairs with cheap quality materials used.  

Q: Why are your dog wheelchairs better then the dog wheelchairs not made in the USA and in a foreign country?

A: Our wheelchairs are individually custom made with quality material used. Both our aluminum and powder coating are manufactured in the USA and superior in quality. The other countries which steal our intellectual property and also build dog wheelchairs use cheap inferior aluminum which will bend easily. They use cheap materials and custom plastic parts that will break easily leaving you without a wheelchair. We built ours better; stronger without problems and a wheelchair designed to last for years.    

Q: I purchased a dog wheelchair from another company that said they are a USA company. It was inexpensive so I bought it. In the first month one of the round tubes bent; and the legs constantly loosened and slipped. Three months later the wheels started to wobble. I assumed it was made in the USA; however when I received it the product box said "Made in China". Are your dog wheelchairs made in China or the USA and do they have any problems?

A:  Our wheelchairs are 100% individually custom built in the USA and we do not have any problems with our wheelchairs or the problems you experienced. When we designed our wheelchairs years ago we looked at complaints from other dog wheelchairs and made ours better; eliminating those problems. We are aware of the quality issues of the wheelchair you purchased. We sold many wheelchairs which have replaced them.

Q: Should I waste time looking at the reviews of all dog wheelchairs?

A: Yes. Even though you may need one ASAP; give it a day or two and review all of them.  Look at the reviews from verified buyers; not the unverified buyers because it may be from the sellers family. You need honest reviews. This is an investment; do not take it lightly.

Q: What is powder coating?

A: Powder coating is a type of coating that is applied as a free-flowing, dry powder. Unlike conventional liquid paint which is delivered via an evaporating solvent, powder coating is typically applied electro statically and then cured under heat or with ultraviolet light. It provides superior performance than wet pain; much more resistant to chipping, scratching, and other wear because of the thermal bonding it undergoes during curing, and because it can be applied in much thicker layers. While it isn't indestructible, it is highly durable, retains color and gloss, goes on uniformly, has excellent UV stability and is a far more environmentally friendly option than traditional liquid paint.

Q: I want my dog to be as comfortable as possible while in his wheelchair. Can I make the seat thicker by adding more padding myself?

A: Yes you can. People buy pet cloth diapers for their pet which works well. You can also wrap 1 or 2 inch wide strips of thick fleece or other soft thick material around the seat by overlapping it each time you go around which will add padding. Have extra clean material strips so you can remove the dirty material to wash and have fresh clean strips ready. NOTE: Adding a diaper or extra seat padding will make your pet sit higher in the wheelchair. You will need to make a slight adjustment to the seat rings; by making the larger which will lower your pet in the seat. Our step by step written with photos instruction manual explains this.

Q: Why do you offer different colors?

A: We are a custom builder; offering different colors due to the requests. We receive request's for different colors for various reasons; such as blue for a boy; pink for a girl; red for that trouble maker; colors that match or look good with the pets color; colors matching the buyers favorite sports team; colors matching the buyers vehicle color or favorite color, etc. Our wheelchairs look fantastic with a custom color and all black hardware.

Q: Why don't other dog wheelchair companies sell different colors and only unfinished aluminum?

A: Because they are mass produced in another country (not USA) for thousands of individual retail sellers who have little to no knowledge of a dog wheelchair; only selling them for a profit. Different colors would cost the more and would be to confusing for them to keep track of.

 

QUALITY INSPECTION: Each shipment is individually packaged and inspected for quality. Inspected for all parts, hardware etc. Making sure your shipment goes out complete.

RETURNED/REFUSED DELIVERY: All Returns must be approved by us and issued a return RMA number. Any retuned without an approval or RMA number is automatically refused and sent back to the sender at their expense. Any returned or refused deliveries are subject to restocking fees and additional fees applied as reimbursement of any shipping fees which may have been paid by the seller if applicable. This includes any damage or missing parts to the returned item.

DAMAGED PACKAGE: Do not sign for any damaged packages. If a delivery is damaged refuse delivery and contact us ASAP for replacement. By signing for a delivery this confirms the shipment was received undamaged.

INTERNATIONAL SALES: For purchases and returns outside of the United States the buyer is responsible for all import, export, tariff or duty taxes.

NOT AS DESCRIBED: If you believe your pet wheelchair is "NOT AS DESCRIBED" we will require that you supply to us with written details along with photos showing and demonstrating why it is "Not as Described" before any action can be taken.
