  • Artist:  Ferdinand Perrot was a French 19th Century painter who was born in 1808. Ferdinand Perrot's print work has been offered at auction multiple times.  Realized prices for his prints range from 11 USD to 8,316 USD, depending on the size and medium of the artwork. Since 1998 the record price for this artist at auction is 8,316 USD for "Naples from the Sea", sold at Christie's South Kensington in 1998. The artist died in 1841.

  • Publisher/Printer:  The credit cited at the very bottom suggests this was actually produced in New York at a business named Bailly.

  • Condition:  VG-Fine.  As the photographs show there are two areas of dampstain, both outside the print area.  There is age toning to the paper with some foxing spots.  This will still display nicely.  There are a couple of pencil markings in the top margin area.  I cannot make out what the pencil markings indicate.
