Billed as the “Super Italian Team,” the duo was scheduled to headline the prestigious event held at Antwerp’s Palais des Sports from February 13 to 19. Due to a disagreement with the race organizers, Coppi ultimately did not participate in the race. Terruzzi was partnered with Dominique Forlini, and the pair finished in third place. Printed in vibrant red, green, and black, with bold typography and facsimile autographs, the design targeted Italy’s immigrant community in Belgium, urging them to come cheer their countrymen.
