Vintage 2 Pc Seymour Mann Japan 18K Gold Fine China Toothbrush Holder/Soap Dish

Rare Estate find! Two-piece set includes a toothbrush holder with four holes and a soap dish with drainage holes to prevent moisture retention. Some faded 18k gold trim, expected for age. No obvious chips, cracks, or flaws beyond descrbed. These items are not common in this brand, let alone two pieces in one set! Great for using for practice use, displaying, or gifting.

As with all treasures of the past, metals, even sterling silver can tarnish. With sterling, this is referred to as patina. This will cause a change in color/appearance of the piece from age, usually darker. True patina typically increases the value of a piece.

Most items are gently cleaned/polished so as not to damage or decrease their value. This gives you, the buyer, the option to choose which preference fits your personal taste. This also ensures devaluation of items does not occur. Sometimes, a sparkly and new appearance does no favors for vintage/antique items.

Upon purchase, your item is packaged with care to ensure it arrives to you safely. We have established a reputation of well packaged items, ensuring they make it to their destination intact. Items are generally shipped the same day.
