Extracted from a massive photographer’s estate in Clearwater Florida in 2014. The George Fulmer studio & development Center was located next to our Clearwater courthouse for over 65 years before its demolition in 2015. We currently have well over 1000 items from this estate listed in our eBay store so make sure and check that out. These are original items from that estate.

You get everything you see here in the original packets as found. These were mostly found together but all put together after months of sorting through photos. Some of these have negatives and are shown below. Each of these feature Beach properties in and around Clearwater around or about 1980 as some are stamped & dated. Most of these photos are small measuring between 2 x 3“ and the largest one being about 3 x 4“

George Fulmer. Photographer for the city of Clearwater for over half a century. Also a Navy enlisted photographer during WW2. After cleaning out the residence & studio in 2014, we have been sorting through over 100,000 photographs for the last 10 years, and are finally offering some of the best ones up for sale individually.

We hope to Bring recognition to his life's work as well as to find homes for some of the history of an entire city as documented by the city photographer.

Many important events & people were photographed by George over his 75+ years as a photographer.

The photographs include everything you would've expected a city photographer to have been present for, from weddings, to new construction, aerial photographs, sporting events, school events, press photography, police, Jaycees, and a really nice , but VERY LIMITED collection of nude photographs from a nudist camp that was in operation here in the 40s & 50s.

Even more limited, there were a handful of war photographs and film that we were able to save.

The photos that are being offered here were well preserved, found inside the home and studio, in a cool, dry, cellar type setting.

This is quite a project for only two curators, so please follow us, and be patient as we slowly unveil the contents of this massive estate.
