It is a slate blue in color, some of the pics make it look darker - when it looks blue in the pic, that is the most true color.
Rain hood looks brand new, never used.
Bag is in great shape for its age, only a couple small dent/breaks where the leather wraps around the very top section.
Of course the brass D rings etc have some areas of tarnish or rust.
All the pockets are intact and the zippers all work smoothly.
Shoulder strap is padded and no issues.
