Main text is free of writing and markup, has some foxing and blotching, light tanning, misc small handling marks. Foldout map in volume 2 complete, no tears, one small extra crease. Cover has corner and edge bumps, misc spots, and a difference in glossiness in various areas, hard to photograph. Odor free. Bindings strong. A good solid set.
