Purchased recently in a lot from the Halwick rental house liquidation auction in Los Angeles. I kept some sets for myself, getting rid of the remaining inventory.

Most filters appear like new. I can’t notice any imperfections on the glass of the filter that is sealed in plastic. The opened filters look in great shape, no scratches or fungus that I can see, about as pristine as a used filter can get. Bar codes may have bits scratched off but that doesn't effect the glass at all.
Since I did not acquire these directly from the manufacturer I cannot claim that the sealed filters are indeed brand new, nevertheless, they look great.
