START is a 501(c)(3) non-profit that rescues animals from overcrowded high-kill shelters in Southern and Central California. We transport them to fully vetted organizations in Oregon and Washington, where they find loving homes. Since 2011, we have saved over 13,000 animals. We also provide spay/neuter services and medical assistance to underserved communities in Riverside, Antelope Valley, Porterville, and Delano, CA.
