1962 Louisiana Statehood silver so-called half dollar from Heraldic Art Medals.  #10 in the series of so-called 50c pieces, with a maximum mintage of 6300 pieces.  Made of .925 sterling silver, reeded edge, and made to closely resemble the commemorative 50c pieces from the US Mint.

The medal shows some toning that possibly could be remedied with proper treatment.  They are as I came into possession of them and display nice luster.

Neat and rich history behind the making of these metals, more information can be found in the TAMS journal of February 1997.

Shipped by USPS ground advantage with tracking.
