1940 event cover marking the last day of operation for the Storms, OH post office on April 30, 1940.  It was sent by Hattie Gregg, Acting Postmaster to a recipient in Kennebunkport, ME.  It is postmarked with a bold cancellation clearly reading April 30, 1940 (Storms, Ohio) and is franked with one 1.5c (Scott #805) stamp.  The reverse is blank, except for a hand-written notation reading "June Gregg," presumably a relative of the Acting Postmaster.
