A antique C.H. McKenney & Co kerosene/paraffin lamp, which has been drilled for installing electric cables. It is marked on its winder button with an American Eagle, plus - IMPERIAL PAT 19 AUG 1884 and is also marked on the botton of its brass font on a soldered plaque marked - C H McKENNEY & CO BOSTON. MASS.
It has a good gilt finish and a large red and White Glass Student style shade. Its total height measures 19 1/2" or 572 mm high and its shade ring measures 10 1/8" or 49.5 cm wide.
It dates to the late 1800's and displays well. It is in good condition, with wear consistent with its age and use. Please see photos
