Blue Conversion filters help correct warm or amber light to neutral "Daylight” This is a critical tool for film photographers because film has a fixed light balance, usually daylight, that should be corrected in-camera for the most accurate results.

The 80A filter is a dark blue filter that corrects yellowish 3200K (Incandescent) light (Type A) to match 5500K (Daylight) film and thereby will produce neutral results.

The 80B filter is a slightly more intense dark blue filter that corrects yellowish 3400K (Incandescent) light (Type B) to neutral 5500K(Daylight) film and thereby will produce neutral results. 80B will produce slightly warmer results than 80A
