THIS IS A WONDERFUL SMALL VINTAGE (1950'S) COLOR PRINT OF AN AUGUSTE RENOIR PAINTING KNOWN AS " PAYSAGE BLEU / BLUE LANDSCAPE 1915 ". MATTED AND MOUNTED IN THE 1980'S ON A WOOD FRAME. MADE OF PAPER AND INKS WONDERFULLY DONE AND IN GREAT CONDITION FOR THE AGE A MUST FOR THE COLLECTOR.

ABOUT THE ARTIST:

pierre-Auguste renoir

Pierre-Auguste Renoir was a French artist and co-founder of the Impressionist movement alongside Claude Monet. His work is known for its vibrant colors, light, and depictions of Parisian leisure and modernity. Renoir's early works were Impressionist snapshots of real life, but he later broke away from the movement to use a more formal technique. He developed a technique of broken brushstrokes and bold color combinations to capture the movement and light of his subjects.
