CONDITION / QUALITY GRADING:

While condition and quality grading is somewhat subjective, the staff at 802GadgetFix follows the grading systems listed below.

 

·         5/10 Severe scratching and/or mars; no cracks or chips

·         6/10 Multiple and/or deep scratching and/or mars; no cracks or chips

·         7/10 Minor scratching and/or mars; no cracks or chips

·         8/10 Few light scratches and/or mars; no cracks or chips

·         9/10 Very few light scratches and/or mars; no cracks or chips

 

·       GRADE A = EXCELLENT Condition with no dents and/or scratches; no sticker residue and/or fading; no hot spots or water damage; intact MacBook trim*, if applicable.

·       GRADE B = GOOD Condition and may show signs of use such as minor dents and/or scratches, faint sticker residue or fading, no hot spots or water damage; MacBook trim* may show signs of wear but will be intact, if applicable.

·       GRADE C = FAIR Condition with clear evidence of dents and/or scratches; may have sticker residue and/or faded finish; may have hot spots and/or water damage; may have cracked/broken MacBook trim*, if applicable.

*Please note that MacBook trim damage is cosmetic only and will not affect the functionality.

 

FUNCTIONALITY NOTICES: Please review the notices listed below and note that some notices will be printed on green paper (a/k/a Green Sheet Notices) and included with order.

 

BATTERIES: All batteries are tested and the battery health is indicated in the listing title. Most batteries need to be re-calibrated with a special tool to avoid the "Unable to verify this iPhone has a genuine Apple battery. Health information not available for this battery" message. Newer model batteries (iPhone 13 and above) cannot be re-calibrated.

 

CABLES: We only sell 100% Genuine OEM Apple cables.  You can determine that a cable is an authentic, genuine OEM Apple cable by the markings found on each cable.  All genuine OEM Apple cables are laser inscribed. The location of the marking will vary depending on the material of the cable.  We recommend using the camera zoom feature to view the inscription. 

 

·       White Rubber/Plastic cables are inscribed in very light gray lettering "Designed by Apple in California assembled in China".  A Green Sheet Notice with a printed ruler will be included with all cable orders.  Using the ruler printed on the Green Sheet Notice, line the USB connector up with the left side of the diagram and follow to the end of the arrow.  This arrow marks the approximate location where the marking can be found.  Depending on the cable you received, you may need to try from the other end if the marking is not initially found. 

 

·       Braided/Woven cables are inscribed either on the silver part of the USB-C connector or on the white plastic neck around the silver USB-C connector.   The inscription will read "Apple" then the Apple model number "A # # # #" followed by the manufacturing location.  Diagrams can be found on the Green Sheet Notice.

 

CAMERAS: After camera replacement and after any software update beyond the 14.4 iOS update, a warning may appear. Currently, there is no way to remove this message however, you can be assured that this is a genuine Apple camera and will work normally. 

 

DISPLAYS: The display models listed below must be calibrated to recover True Tone settings and avoid the "Unable to verify this iPhone has a genuine Apple screen" message. This can possibly be done by an authorized Apple repair shop or through a device purchased online separately.  Affected models include: iPhone X and newer. 

 

FLEX CABLES: Flex cables can be extremely fragile and easy to break.  Please use utmost care when removing the Green Sheet Notice and when handling during repair.

 

HOME BUTTONS:  All Home Buttons are "married" to the original motherboard and will not function with any other motherboard. In order to maintain Home Button functionality, the Home Button from the old screen MUST be transferred to the new screen. This is an Apple security feature and cannot be bypassed.

 

WATCH BANDS:  We only sell 100% Genuine OEM Apple Watch bands.  You can determine that a band is an authentic, genuine OEM Apple band by the Apple specific markings found on each band.  All watch bands have the width of the band marked on the band however, the location of the marking will vary depending on the material of the band. The widths include: 38mm, 40mm, 41mm, 42mm, 44mm, 45mm, 46mm or 49mm.  

 

·       On RUBBER and LEATHER bands, the width is laser inscribed on the inside of the band just below the rubber/metal lug or on the curved edge of the lug.

 

·       On CLOTH bands, the width is laser inscribed on a small oval patch on the inside of the band just below the metal lug or on the curved edge of the metal lug.

 

·       On METAL bands, the width is laser inscribed on the inside flat side of the metal lug or on the inside surface of the metal clasp.

 

Security tags are attached to all high-end Apple watch bands to deter/prevent fraud.  It is attached in a way that you can still try the band on your watch without removing it.  If you need to start a return, please contact us first and DO NOT REMOVE THE SECURITY TAG! 

TITANIUM ULTRA BAND SIZING

·        Small: Bands fit 130mm-160mm (5"-6 ¼") wrists

·        Medium: Bands fit 155-185mm (6"-7 ¼") wrists

·        Large: Bands fit 180-210mm (7"-8 ¼") wrists

The NEW Series 10 Apple Watches are compatible with older model Apple bands in the 38mm, 40mm or 41mm sizes and the NEW 42mm band. The older model 42mm bands are NOT compatible with the Series 10 watches! 

·        Milanese Band Gold 1^st Gen is available in 40mm and 44mm sizes

·        Milanese Band Gold 2^nd Gen is available in 41mm and 45mm sizes

·        Milanese Band Gold 3^rd Gen is available in 40mm and 46mm sizes

·        Please note that the 1^st Gen and 3^rd Gen 40mm are NOT the same!

·       All delivery dates posted after processing are ESTIMATES provided by eBay/Shipping Carrier. Tracking numbers are provided to each buyer via an eBay generated email order update and through the buyer's individual eBay account.

·       We (the seller) have no control over shipments once they are turned over to the shipping carrier (USPS, UPS, FedEx, etc.). While weather may not be an issue where you are, there may be weather issues along the route your order must travel and therefore, may be delayed.  Your patience and understanding regarding these issues is greatly appreciated.

·       We only send to confirmed shipping addresses.

·       Address changes and/or corrections are handled per eBay policy.  If an order is placed with an incorrect shipping address, the order must be cancelled and then re-ordered with the correct information. Please contact us ASAP should this occur so that the order can be caught prior to shipment.
