Bonham Drumheads Launches New UK Drumhead Brand Designed by Drummers

UK – 2024/2025 — Bonham Drumheads, a new UK-based drumhead brand, has officially launched, aiming to challenge rising prices in the drum accessories market while delivering professional sound and durability.

The brand was founded by two working drummers who became increasingly frustrated with the cost of drumheads available on the market in and around 2024. Despite paying premium prices, they felt value and consistency were falling short.

Determined to offer an alternative, the pair set out to create a drumhead range designed by drummers, for drummers, without compromise.

Founders Mickysticks and Gregory Bonham were able to fast-track development thanks to established contacts within the musical instrument production industry. Multiple prototypes were produced and tested at factories across the globe before the final manufacturing partner was selected.

After extensive testing, Bonham Drumheads chose to work with a specialist factory in Brazil, recognised for its expertise, material quality, and consistency in drumhead manufacturing.

“Our goal was simple,” says co-founder Gregory Bonham. “Create drumheads that sound great, last longer, and don’t punish drummers’ wallets.”

Bonham Drumheads focuses on reliability, tone, and fair pricing, offering a fresh alternative for drummers seeking professional performance without inflated costs.

The brand is now preparing for wider release and distribution, with further product announcements expected.
