"A bridal dowry sculpture in the form of a helmeted soldier riding a horse, he having the reins in one hand and a small weapon or symbol of authority in the other. Metal toys such as this were presented by the family of the bride, and horses, as well as elephants, were considered status symbols, as they were not seen in the Kondh area until introduced by the British in 1835."
