ADSB01 is an ADSB exchange unit receiving 1090MhZ

ADS-B Exchange is a platform and community that provides access to unfiltered, real-time flight data collected through a network of ADS-B/Mode S/MLAT receivers. It allows users to track aircraft movements, monitor flight paths, and access detailed aircraft information, including registration details and ownership.
ADSB01 is a receiver that monitors aircraft data over radio frequency and can upload it to the ADSB Exchanges if configured to do so.

The user will be able to see aircrafts on a map where this unit is installed. depending on where the unit is installed and location of the antenna, the range is typically about 100 miles.
The ASDB exchange application can be access using a web browser and will display the tail number, carrier, GPS location, weather, and several other information. This is a great application that is also used to transfer the collected data to a central server.

The ADSB01 is build on a quad core single board computer loaded with the ADSB Exchange application. This unit can read flying aircraft RF signal on 1090MhZ.

The GPS72 module can be purchased separately if needed to add GPS capabilities but it is not necessary if the location of the unit is entered manually. The GPS unit is recommended if the user decides to feed the data to the ADSB server. If used, the GPS72 must have a direct sky view to properly receive the GPS data and is therefore not suited for every installation.

The ADSB01 comes with a small integrated display that shows its performance parameters as well as its IP address which is needed to access it over a web browser. The ADSB01 must be wall of window mounted for proper cooling.

Please note that we don't provide ADSB software support or training. The software loaded on the unit is by ADSB Exchange and all related documentation can be found on the ADSB website.
