Fender Standard Series Jazz Bass Alder Body (Brown Sunburst)
The official Fender Standard Series Jazz Bass Alder Body has S/S pickup routes and is pre-drilled for bridge mounting screw holes and the bridge ground wire channel, while the body features their classic highly contoured Y shape for easier access to the upper frets and for a comfortable sitting or standing playing position.
Making your own partscaster guitar couldn't be simpler with this Jazz bass body from Fender, all the routing and shaping is done and it is topped with a durable low maintenance gloss polyester finish. The strap button, neck mounting and bridge mount holes have been drilled but all other screw holes will need to be drilled (scratchplate, jack plate etc.) allowing you to fit your own unique hardware. The body has been pre-drilled for a vintage style five screw mount bridge (sold separately) and the neck pocket is ready to receive a four bolt curved heel Fender style bass neck.
Alder wood gives the Jazz bass its signature sound, feel and look, as it offers the perfect balance of tone, weight and sustain. The body is stamped with ‘genuine Fender parts’ where the heel plate is attached, to guarantee authenticity. Please note, the photo displayed is an example image only and the wood grain and any finish tone will differ on the body you receive. Some minor woodwork to fit the neck to the body may be required, the body pairs with a standard Fender or Squier curved heel end Jazz Bass neck.
The Fender Standard Series Jazz Bass Alder Body gives you the option to build your own official bass using a completely custom set of parts, making it as unique as the player.
