This is "The Dead City" by Gabriele d'Annunzio, in a stated second edition published by Laird & Lee (no date stated, but after 1902). This edition features the drama by d'Annunzio, translated into English, with illustrations from the stage production by the legendary Italian actress Eleanora Duse. Condition of this book is Very Good; there is a slight spine lean and some discoloration to the upper page block edges. The internal hinges are cracked, but still holding.
