You are looking at a vintage Hommer Company Red Marbled Sewing Box with Clear Top that shows Kitten Playing with Yarn. This measures about 7 1/4" x about 5 1/2" x about 2 3/4" tall. This box is in good condition and is plastic, I'm not sure if it is Bakelite or not. This could be used as a sewing box or as a cute jewelry box.
