REINFORCED POLYURETHANE PISTON/ROD SEALS

The B series of Seals are made of polyurethane 90 Shore A and are suitable for the dynamic seal on piston rods of hydraulic cylinders.

They can be used as a dynamic seal on pistons, but only for single effecting.

Thanks to the characteristics and high hardness of the material, these seals ensure a remarkable resistance to abrasion and extrusion. Their rugged construction and good compression set of the material, help to ensure high performance and a long life, promote the seal even at low pressures.

If it is necessary to use them for higher pressures we can provide with hardness 95 Shore A.

B NBR seal is suggested for rod applications in hydraulic cylinders. The external ring version (TSE/AE) is suitable for simple acting pistons.
It is manufactured as a unique element from the vulcanization of 2 materials:  rubber cloth as anti-extrusion element and NBR as sealing element. Another version available is the TSE/AI with the anti-extrusion ring on the inside diameter, particularly suitable for working under several conditions of extrusion. The above variants are also available in special materials able to work in harsh conditions. Besides the standard version, it can also be manufactured in a special material for high temperature.
