Description

The Weller WXD2010 Digital Desoldering Station combines the WXD2 Dual Channel Power Unit with the WXDP120 Desoldering Iron. Key settings are stored directly in the WXDP120; as a result, there is no need to enter control data into the power unit, saving time-consuming set up. Featuring a fast-action Venturi system, the WXD2 produces a controlled vacuum via an external compressed air source. The maximum power output of the 255W WXD2 control unit reaches up to 200W, allowing for use of all WX series tools. The WXD2 can provide 200W from a single output or two 120W if both ports are in use. The unit's connection cable can connect the control unit to external devices such as hot plates and fume extraction units. The WXD2 furthermore features a straightforward and multi-lingual menu navigation system, which keeps the need to familiarize yourself to the Weller WXD2 at a minimum. The turn-and-click wheel allows for intuitive operation as well.

The WXDP 120 Desoldering Iron heats up in only 35 seconds. If in standby mode, the heat-up time required by the iron can be quickened to 20 seconds. A blue LED light ring on the handle of the WXDP 120 provides a visual indication of the temperature conditions without the need for testing. Both the WXDP 120 and WXD2 are ESD safe to ensure that sensitive components are not damaged during use.
