The Artist:

Maestro Giatti obtained his training in painting and engraving in Italy and abroad; he has exhibited his works in 35 solo exhibitions, participated in Collectives, Awards and Biennials, Grafica and Ex Libris in Italy and foreign countries. " In his fruitful artistic activity he has won numerous awards in Italy, Poland, Romania, Brazil and Japan: specifically, in Kyoto, in February 2003 he received the 2nd Holbein Prize for Woodcut at the 4th Exhibition Kyoto International Woodprint Association - Kiwa. 

Other activities include the creation of about thirty folders and art books with watercolor illustrations, drawing, collages and graphics, on poetic and literary texts. The Master also participated in Editions II and III of the Biennale d’Incisione e Scultura organized by the Celommi ETS Foundation, obtaining a mention in 2021 and second place in 2023.
