If you wish to blur the background in bright sunlight (such as a photo of a wedding couple)
then you can easily use your camera's widest aperture, thus reducing the depth of field.

If you want to blur motion, such as an action shot or one of flowing water then you can
multiply the shutter speed by over 60 times and use the smallest aperture.
