100% original - this is correct for your L-5, L-5c or L-5CES from the 1950's or early/mid 1960's

This unit is correct for a 50's or early 60's L-5 as it has the "varitone" tension bar - which was abandoned later in the 60's and 70's.

The gold finish has a lovely worn patina
Original custom engraving is in great shape and very prominent
Perfect working order with no bends, splits or cracks in the metal.
