Fluorite
Boltsburn Mine
Weardale, County Durham, England
From
the Ellis collection comes this great Fluorescent Weardale Fluorite. The
Fluorite fluoresces bright blue under LW/UV.
Roughly
200 gm measuring about 48 x 48 x 40 mm. The photos don’t do this one justice as
they don’t capture the true color of the fluorescence.
This is an
attractive specimen that certainly would make a great addition to any
collection.

Payment
must be received within 6 days of auction closing. I can combine shipments
where it will not risk damage to the specimens. If you are buying several items
please do not pay for them individually. I will find a box to hold all the
items where suitable and will invoice you for combined shipping.
S&H
includes a handling and supplies charge to cover costs above actual shipping.
Note to International Buyers: For Fossil and Mineral
Specimens, I always use the Customs Code 9705.00 which is for fossil and
mineral collectables. By international agreement that should make them duty
free, however I have no control over individual customs offices and how they
interpret the rules. In addition, some countries assess VAT. All pricing and
shipping/handling is exclusive of Duty and/or VAT, which will be the
responsibility of the purchaser. By law I am obligated to fill out customs
forms accurately.
Good Luck
