Description

The Triplett Model CM1070 True RMS Clamp Meter is an essential tool for any electrical measurement task. Designed for efficiency, it measures AC and DC current up to 1000A without breaking the circuit by simply clamping around a single conductor. This not only saves time but also ensures the circuit remains undamaged. It boasts True RMS, which provides superior accuracy when measuring non-sinusoidal or noisy waveforms. The device's versatility is highlighted with additional measurements for Resistance, Capacitance, Frequency, Dual Temperature, Diode Test, and Continuity, all displayed on the dual 50,000 count backlit LCD. Other key features include Peak voltage capture, NCV Detector with LED, zero function for DCA and Capacitance, Auto power off, and a built-in flashlight. The Data Hold feature freezes the display for easy viewing. The product is categorized as CAT IV-600V for safety and comes with a 9V battery, test leads, (2) Type K thermocouple probes, a carrying case, and a 1-year warranty.
